A pass play that could be extremely successful against Alabama is the Tigers slip pass in the flat to Onterio McCalebb. Auburn executed a similar play against Alabama last season with Mario Fannin as the recipient. Auburn executed the play against Clemson, which resulted in an explosive play for the Tiger offense.

We have seen more 2-back sets this season with the combination of Michael Dyer and Onterio McCalebb. It was needed to make up for the loss of Cameron Newton. Dyer is now the inside threat and McCalebb is the outside threat.
