Auburn Running Back RBU Carnell Williams Michael Dyer Ben Tate Onterio McCalebb Marcus Lattimore Darren McFadden Trent Richardson
Based on recruit ratings from Prep Star (2000-2001) and Scout.com (2002-2010), there have been 74 RB's rated as 4-stars or better that signed and qualified with SEC schools. I sorted this list of 74 backs, eliminating those backs with less than 20 career games. I then sorted the remaining backs, comiling a top-20 list based on total offensive yards per game during their careers.

Here is the top 20:

Marcus Lattimore (USC) .............. 130.5 YPG
Darren McFadden (Ark) ............... 130.4
Knowshon Moreno (UGA) ............. 130.0
Trent Richardson (Ala) ................. 101.6
Carnell Williams (Aub) .................. 94.8
Ciatrick Fason (UF) ...................... 94.1
Anthony Dixon (MSU) ................... 92.6
Michael Dyer (Aub) ....................... 90.4
Washaun Easley (UGA) ................ 77.9
Ben Tate (Aub) ............................. 77.8
Musa Smith (UGA) ........................ 77.1
Thomas Brown (UGA) ................... 75.5
Jerious Norwood (MSU) ................. 73.9
Ronnie Brown (Aub) ...................... 70.3
Demetris Summers (USC) .............. 66.8
Onterio McCalebb (Aub) ................ 65.9
Knile Davis (Ark) ............................ 62.5
Chris Rainey (UF) .......................... 61.5
Cedric Houston (UT) ...................... 61.3
Charles Scott (LSU) ....................... 59.9

Had Rudi Johnson returned for his senior year, he would have likely topped this list. Because he did not have 20 career games, he was omitted from the qualifiers.

Based on the career numbers of quality RB's recruited from 2000-2010, here are the average results by school.

Auburn (7) ............. 79.8
Alabama (3) .......... 57.4
Miss State (5) ........ 57.1
Arkansas (6) ......... 54.7
Georgia (12) ......... 49.3
S. Carolina (7) ...... 46.8
Florida (11) .......... 41.7
LSU (9) ................ 40.8
Tennessee (8) ...... 35.7
Ole Miss (4) .......... 31.4

Auburn tops the list with their quality RB's averaging 79.8 yards in total offense per game during their careers.
