At 6-1, 250 pounds, Jay Prosch earned All-American honors this past season at Illinois, starting since his true freshman season. With his combination of size and strength, Prosch will be like having an extra lineman in the Auburn backfield. He might not touch the football often but he will likely be the key to Auburn reestablishing their physical presence, while on offense. During his freshman and sophomore seasons, Illinois averaged 209-yards rushing per game on 4.6 yards per rush with Prosch paving the way as the lead-blocker.
Auburn fans have always revered the effort and performances of their fullbacks and Jay Prosch has the talent and ability to be the next great fullback on the Plains. Auburn has been commonly known as “Running back U” and everyone of those great running backs benefited from the consistent performance of their fullbacks. Look for Jay Prosch to promptly become a fan favorite at Auburn as well as a respected member of the football team among his peers and coaches.
I did not have an available photograph of Joe Frazier, who exemplified the words "Team Player". He played multiple positions while at Auburn and gave it his all on every snap. Like Carl Stewart, he wasn't a true fullback but played the position to the best of his ability.

Welcome to the Auburn Family Mr. Prosch and War Eagle!
