I know GG was not a power hitter but I hope he brings a more power oriented offensive philosophy with him. IMO we were just not cut out to play small ball last season. UF and some others proved the HR is still part of the game...but more importantly, we must be a better defensive club. Glad to have him back at AU.

We need defense, base running and in general to play smarter baseball. Any news that Casey Dunn will be ~~joining~~ taking over the staff would be welcome.

I would gladly welcome Casey Dunn as our head coach. He has done a wonderful job with Samford.

I'm glad Gabe will officially be part of the staff. I agree with other's, we really need to work on basic fundamental's. Playing smart fundamental baseball, and not beating yourself, is a great recipe for success.
