AuburnGrad97 37
Man, if Jeff Whitaker takes advantage of the weight room and red-shirt to get healthy, we have a SICK defensive line for 2014!!!!
tigerwings 75
What many forget is that he played hurt for almost 2 seasons. He had his best play in 2010 and early 2011. Since then he has played hurt and is finally healed for the first time in almost 2 years. He already has a full season of workouts, plus he gets a full offseason, spring, summer and august training camp to prepare. He has one season left, and I believe he may be absolutely devastating. When he was ON in 2010 and 2011, he was very good. Now he has 1 season under CRG and 2 offseason under Coach Russell. The D line will be solid. IronMan70 3,277
I take it for all but Gus, these are the same contract for last year. Do you know or have they said when the details of any new contracts for assistant coaches will be available ?

I'll wait until CGM confirms. Same with Trovon Reed to CB.
AubTiger14 0
Our offense looks stacked for next year. If Marshall develops more as a passer, as I expect he will, it could get scary. I think our depth on the D-Line will be a strength for us. Our back end looks like it could have some potential, but I could see a lot of position changes happening, much like last year. Tivo48 31
Are Justin Garrett's chances done at Star? Therezie played out of his mind last year but I figured Garrett would get another look too.
Timeslider 6 269
At one time It was mentioned on the news reports that Garrett was intended for primarily run downs and Therezie was intended for passing downs, has anyone else heard that before or did I just imagine that? TKO55 5
What possible position changes would the board like to see tried or experimented with. I'd like to see Jonathan Wallace, Trovon Reed, and Quan Bray give DB a shot (whether it is at S or CB). They have little to no upward mobility in their current spots and could help more at a thin position.

AUtigers2324 42
I'm curious to see if we restock all these behind-the-scenes positions. Given the jump into college coaching that some of those guys achieved I would think some forward-thinking top high school coaches would be dying to get that gig. austudnt23 1,432
we have the best defensive line in SEC this year. Our defense as a whole will be much better. We will miss Mason but Barber is a STUD with ROC Payne being quality backups. our WR corps is deadly as is our Oline. If Marshall continues to improve which he will watch out :-). This will be abother special year!
