Proud Tiger 4,261
In a televised interview, Reid has called the Nevada ranchers domestic terrorists. Really Harry? All of them? Yet you wouldn't even call the Boston bombers domestic terrorists. This little a-hole should be put in a mental institution.
Auctoritas 2,826
I'm not sure I'd have called the Boston bombers domestic terrorists either, though...they were not from here. I consider domestic terrorists to be home-grown. But I have no real clue on the actual definition. I am behind on this story, though - Anyone mind giving a quick synopsis about whatever this rancher thing is? I have no opinion or knowledge about it, now's your chance to convince me! It sounds like he's pretty in the wrong. Legally he's in the wrong. He owes money to the BLM. He's also lost in court over this. What went wrong is the BLM trying to play law enforcement. The government did not need to use force like that. They could have put a lien on his house and other property and ceased his bank accounts. Game over. Then they could have hired private companies to round up and remove the cattle.

Proud Tiger 4,261
I would add that even after the BLM backed off and things cooled down, Reid won't let it go He has been on two different networks spouting off his venom. Clearly he has some political/financial interest in getting the cows off the land.

Proud Tiger 4,261
Don't have one just like you often don't when you express an opinion. But what do you honestly believe? The head of BLM is his former staffer, his son his is a lawyer involved. Reid won't let things settle down. How many dots do you have to connect. Proud Tiger 4,261
Bundy is not a hero. But the BLM, i.e., the feds clearly screwed up big time in how they handled the situation. And if you were honest you can surely see this.

Fortunately the people stopped it. There's more to this story and as usual the liberals protect the government thugs.
Proud Tiger 4,261
TT.....and I guess your boy Reid stoking hatred of the feds, just like Bundy is OK. Even some Dems are angry at him. Factual findings based on the endangered status of the desert tortoise? lol The important issue here is not Bundy's standing with the law, sir. Im pretty sure everyone accepts his legal liability. It is this govt's consistent tendency to strong arm citizens with paramilitary forces. It is wrong, yet, it is indicative of the true mindset of this administration which is clearly not above oppressive practices and coercion. Tyranny always starts slowly and escalates by degrees until its got the citizenry by the throat. If left unchecked, I, personally, don't think we're very far away from much uglier episodes of govt abuse of power. “When the people fear the government there is tyranny, when the government fears the people there is liberty.” ― Thomas Jefferson Who do you think fears who now?
