James Spann says ;

LABOR DAY WEEKEND: Moisture returns, and we will mention the risk of scattered showers and thunderstorms Saturday through Monday with a mix of sun and clouds each day. Highs 87 to 90, and the risk of any one spot getting wet each day is in the 30-40 percent range. No wash-out, but just be aware a passing shower or storm is possible if you have something planned outdoors.

FOOTBALL WEATHER: Auburn kicks off their season Saturday with a home game against Arkansas at Jordan-Hare Stadium at 3:00. The sky will be partly sunny, and there is about a one in three risk of a shower or thunderstorm during the game. Kickoff temperature near 88, falling into the low 80s by the final whistle.

The title of this thread means that there is a 90% chance Auburn rains the points on Arkansas. There is also a slight possibility a tornado might "touchdown." Hardy har har

Looks like over on al.com the bammies are giddy at the prospect of rain for the AK game. That is their great hope for AK beating us. Don't really understand their logic, of course the word logic should not even be used when talking about that crowd. I guess they think we don't have a running game also. Might be a big surprise there. Let the games begin. WDE!!!

When did we put Alaska on the schedule? Playing them in August was genius ... no doubt they'll wilt in the heat.

Auburn Family - Please stop worrying about the weather!

There is a new Sheriff in town and he's been here for over a year now. Arkie is not LSU, and our QB that may have struggled a-little in a Baton Rouge rain storm, (he played well in the 2nd half of that game) has a year of experience and a entire off-season under his belt, with the best offensive mind in the game!

We will be fine, please stop worrying, and get on board the bus, we are now boarding!!

Anyone who doesn't realize or admit to the fact that rain will greatly help Arkansas and hurt us is absolutely blind. The zone read exchange with a wet ball is a nightmare. Our uber-talented WRs will be slowed. Open your eyes and see that a wet, sloppy game will only benefit the pigs.
