? About play after delay

I was wondering if anyone here smarter than me about the rules could tell me why it was not a fumble when the arky center tried to snap the ball and we recovered?Thanks

I have to watch the replay but there was a false start before the center moved the ball if I remember correctly. Otherwise it is a fumble and we would have recovered. Pre-snap penalty overrode the fumble tho. Same as if there was a flase start and the center still snapped the ball over the QB's head.

probably would have been a snap infraction if not for the false start. I don't know if I've ever seen a shotgun snap bobbled like that other than ones that were called snap infractions.
