Newman5th 0
So that game was hot. Never drank so much water, pouring it over the kids, and when we'd take them every so often for a moment of shade, the tunnels were full of people. Sellout crowd yet lots of missing seats as folks took shelter from sun. When I watched replay of game noticed lots of folks wearing white shirts, which makes sense in the heat. While this weekend was especially muggy, EVERY opener is going to be hot. Could be nice to start a tradition of whiteouts for first game.
Newman5th 0
Our seats faced the sun, am sure it was less severe for those sitting on the home sideline.
Newman5th 0
Except that we're playing Louisville... White, red, uh uh.
imaolgatiger 520
I thought the same thing. White is definitely cooler. I think I will take it upon myself to white out the 90+ degree games from here on.
Auburn 6 101
Except that we're playing Louisville... White, red, uh uh. Luckily the heat shouldn't be a problem inside the GA Dome.
Newman5th 0
Thought for some reason we were playing that at home.
GBAU83 212
Thought at first you were talking about sean white. I agree though! We should do white for anearly season afternoon game.
AUFightingSoldiers 684
It was burning up, that's for sure. But another option is the Auburn under armour loose fit tees. I wore that and some golf shorts, which helped tremendously. The more I sweated the cooler I stayed.

Would have been nice if Jacobs had insisted on a night game instead of a 3:00 kickoff for TV.
