While I despise Clemson, they stubbed themselves in the foot lots of tons or they would have beaten the no. 1 team. They took them to OT do how do they totally drop out of the poll.

AU has to keep that one game at a time focus and keep that desire to play for the championship

What? I don't get the polls. Auburn should be ranked # 2 in the polls. FSU, OU and Oregon didn't look that good this weekend.I'm not impressed with any of them.

To be honest, the same could be said for us. We definitely didn't play our A game. We won, but we didn't prove alot more than any of the other top 5 IMO.

The only difference is we had to play THE Kansas State University on the road, one of the toughest places to play in college football. And we managed to win regardless of how bad we played.

Clemson might be better than many of the current top 25 teams, but they now have a losing record.

I'm a little surprised KSU is still ranked tbh. They didn't have very fall to far

Yeah, but they played the best college football team in the nation pretty dang close, probably as close as anyone could expect the number 20-25 team to do. Makes sense to me that they remain ranked.

As much as I dislike Clemson (mainly current Head Coach and current fan base opinion of themselves), they let FSU off the hook big time..just like we almost shot ourselves in the foot last Thursday night. Clemson dominated and then went belly up in OT!

Clemson would not get too much credit beating FSU with their Heisman QB on the sidelines....and of course the Dawgs slammed them. Otherwise, it seems that about every year after 3 or 4 weeks people are projecting about 6 or 8 teams to go undefeated...but by the end of the season the process usually winnows things down to a pretty identifiable group of superior teams.

The Road Ahead: Auburn plays AP No. 2, 6, 10, 12, 13, 14 and 17 ... hello.

Can't let you go with giving a #2 ap bump for that other school...... for this week they are number 3.

I'm more concerned about the lower ranked Mississippi school than Archie U. They looked good and their QB is the kind that always gives us fits...

Agreed. ..they looked pretty good.

Am I seeing this correctly? Does "REM SOS RK" = remaining strength of schedule? Auburn's "REM SOS RK" 13th, Alabama's "REM SOS RK" 3rd?

Link: http://es.pn/1tNT608

LA Tech has an FPI of -4 that is killing it for us, however when you match that up with USCe to UT we should be ahead by 8pts so no clue how they figure the REM SOS out!, BTW Samford and WCU are a wash and the rest of the teams are common opps. I also don't think they take into account home or away for SOS.

What you really should have asked is HOW THE HECK IS TAMU REM SOS #2 ULL has an FPI of -11 ish

The Road Ahead: Auburn plays AP No. 2, 6, 10, 12, 13, 14 and 17 ... hello.

Not to mention we've already played and beaten #25 and #35.

That's 9 teams in this week's top 35!!! That is the most difficult schedule I've ever seen!

After our game with k-state, if we picked up votes, they should have also.

Alabama should have jumped FSU they handle UF enough to make that jump. The issue: JW was suspended so people gave them the pass this week
