WTF!??? Has it come to this?

Sony should release the picture and put in on-line for free. I'd even support our Government paying them for it to do so.

And then fund a sequel with Seth Rogen and James Franco.

I'd go along with that, except for the gov't funding part. Put it up with a "pay what you want" offer to tell NK to suck it. Then fund the sequel. Awesome idea.

With a little background in Cyber Security, I can tell you we will see major changes in corporate security after this. Companies don’t make money on securing their systems, but as you see in this case they stand to lose a great deal. In order to convince a CEO to spend money on security, you have to convince them of the potential loses. I think they are convinced now more than ever.

I heard one expert say only 10% of US companies would have had a chance to stop this attack. Add that to the success of the Guardians of Peace (North Korea), why wouldn’t we expect this to happen again.

I’m sure we will see some type of legislation come out of this too.

True. As bad as it is for Sony, this may turn out to be a blessing in disguise over the long run.

Unless they go kill another dictator, how would there even be a sequel ? And with Rogan & Franco ? They'd obviously be " outed " as assassins. Or dead themselves.

Sony has to release this in some form. To make zero $ on a major film with well known stars... Quite a bath they're taking .

Sony should "Leak" it. Then the state department can " apologize ". To the angry Koreans for insulting them.

Now that's the ticket!!!

AUtiger98....you are right and most people are completely overlooking the real problem here. The movie is a minor part of what's going on. The problem is the reality of how easy it is for a slimeball country like NK to hack into our computers and blackmail us. I they can do Sony or other companies they can do the same for many gov 't agencies. It's not about a movie but about security

Whatever it was it worked and has caused quite an uproar, far beyond the movie.

A bigger issue now is how will Obama respond to NK's continuing bullying. More talk or action?

Maybe he will resume diplomatic relations, open an embassy, and make Dennis Rodman the ambassador.

Wouldn't surprise me a bit to see him do exactly that. Might not make Rodman ambassador but resuming diplomatic relations is not out of the question.

Attaboy, Larry!

Take That, Jong-un! Hustler Plans 'The Interview' Porn Parody

Free speech icon Flynt says no two-bit dictator will tell him what he can and cannot produce.

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif.—Poking a finger in Hollywood's eye as well as getting a jump on any potential porn parody contenders, Hustler Video has already announced plans to produce a porn parody of Sony's beleaguered comedy,The Interview, starring Seth Rogen and James Franco.

Titled This Ain’t The Interview XXX, Hustler's spoof will also center on two civilians enlisted by the CIA to assassinate the leader of North Korea. It was inevitable.

“If Kim Jong-un and his henchmen were upset before, wait till they see the movie we’re going to make,” said Hustler founder and chairman Larry Flynt. “I’ve spent a lifetime fighting for the First Amendment, and no foreign dictator is going to take away my right to free speech.”

Production of the parody is expected to take place in the first quarter of 2015.

Funny. Hollywood seemed all on board when Larry Flint openly talked about hiring PI's and going after conservative candidates. Air their dirty laundry, etc... Hell yeah! Go get'em Larry !

But when the tables are turned on them... they fold, and go running to con artists like Sharpton to pay for protection, much like paying the mob , so they won't torch your business. Or worse.

One great idea I heard Michael Medved suggest, is that the actor from The Interview who played Jong-Un to come out in character and present one of the awards at the Oscars.

How many more folks watch that show, at least early on, than would have ever seen that silly movie ? Next to the World Cup or the Super Bowl, I have to think that the Oscars are right up there on the world stage of viewers.

Obama says that Sony made a mistake in pulling the movie from release and they should have asked him first!

Would obama take his family to see this movie while he vacations in Hawaii? Would he have it screened at the White House private threatre and let the press take photos of him watching it?
