AURaptor 1,121 Posted March 1, 2015 Share Posted March 1, 2015 Michelle Rodriguez has a different take in the lack of diversity in Hollywood ... she thinks it's ridiculous to make things right by making superheros less white. Rodriguez was cruising out of Katsuya Friday night when she shot down rumors she's in talks to play the Green Lantern ... while also throwing shade at minorities who play white superheroes. Michelle has evidence it's happening. Cases in point ... Michael B. Jordan as the Human Torch, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury ... and the online campaign for Idris Elba to become Bond. Rodriguez' beef seems to revolve around the lack of creativity. Check out the video. Makes zero sense he'd be a black guy, as Sue Storm is white, and they're suppose to be siblings. Aquaman ? Meh, who cares. Jason Momoa would actually make more sense, as he's native Hawaiian. Nick Fury ? Not really any requirement that he be any specific color, and I think SLJ does a great job w/ the role. James Bond ? He's white. Straight up. Idris Elba would make a fine 00 agent himself, just not James Bond. Seriously, he could be like Agent J , replacing Agent K, from MIB. Just pass the torch already and be done w/ it. It clearly was off the cuff and how she really felt. And I happen to agree w/ her. Spiderman, as I understand it, is black as well, in the latest comic book series.
