This report was a little better than expected and that's great but, the labor force participation rate remains below 64%(currently @ 62.8%)where it has been for 65 months.

One must go all the way back to the the 70s to find labor numbers THAT bad

Well we have more young adults staying in school longer and we have this http://www.businessinsider.com/baby-boomers-are-retiring-2014-2

Not too mention how technology advancements in automation has pounded manufacturing. Most assembly lines take nearly half the number of workers than it did just 15 years ago.

Other areas as well...

We also have the increase of people making incomes via the internet that do not report money anywhere. I know a "booky" that makes well over 100,000 a year just on internet bets using an offshore webpage.

Another increase is on the way........interest rates. Not good for first time home owners who are usually young.

The stock market has been up because of the money pumped into it by the fed. That has devalued the dollar and driven up the debt. I'm happy the jobless rate has come down but for just past 6 years into an administration, this is pitiful, regardless of how bad it was when he took office. This "recovery" is anything but robust as they would have you believe. All the effects of Obamacare still have yet to hit. That won't hit everyone until after he's gone from office. Lord only knows how many people are working part time or are underemployed right now because of the policies of this administration.

Noted but the fact remains none of those numbers actually reflect employment in the current economy and some have come in here spiking the football breaking into their celebration dance over this propaganda,.

propaganda??? Unemployment rate is "propaganda"? (Let me just screenshot this for future reference)

So you think automation has not decreased manufacturing jobs greater by the year?

YES the unemployment rate IS propaganda because it doesn't include ALL the people who have literally dropped out of the labor force because they're tired of NOT being able to find a job. If its not propaganda how do you explain the incongruence between a reported unemployment rate of 5.5% but over 98 million americans being unemployed?

Let me also add that IF automation has ANYTHING to do with this number it is very low impact because America's manufacturing base has been being moved abroad for the last 30 years.

Automation has replaced some people but that doesn't even come close to accounting for the number of people that are not working. Too many are just simply unable to find a job or have taken a job that is not in their skill set but is the only one available. It also doesn't take into account the number of part time jobs that people have taken. Once you stop looking for a job you are no longer counted. There are a lot of people that have become entrepreneurs via the internet but the simple fact is this economy is in anything but a recovery. For 6 years in this thing should be humming along. Wages are stagnant at best and that is the key factor that the ones celebrating this keep ignoring. One segment, the energy industry is due entirely to market forces. The high energy prices made it economical for the fracking to be used to go find oil in the Dakotas and elsewhere. The administration has done nothing to support this and even hampered it. This idea of executive action to raise taxes is a sure winner for the economy.

Automation has effected more than just manufacturing which is why I posted links. Even fast food, farming, and grocery stores use automation to cut labor

I gave U6 tables for review as well.

I could give numbers that compare to other countries and how they are rebounding from the global recession.

If the true unemployment rate was 5.5% this economy would be roaring along instead of sputtering, almost dead in it's tracks. Wages would be up and we wouldn't have all these underemployed or part time people. You can spin and twist all you want but the fact remains that there are an awful lot of people that want to work or want to work a better job that is suited to their skills or just work full time and can't.
