He's actually was a former navy pilot in the first gulf war. He's now a Air National Guard JAG officer. the amount of time he spent on active duty seems like a lot. Counting active service in the navy and the active duty guard time he probably has 12 years active duty total. That said he shouldn't trust anyone in NJ state government
