God bless them. I am hopeful this trend will turn around. A 15% increase in police officer deaths YoY is troubling...I don't understand why we are going backwards as a nation on violent crime. The demographic trends should be pushing further the other direction.

jt....one reaosn is the growing number of kids who grow up with no father and not being taught the value of lives. But that has been discussed here ad nauseum.
