Tough road non-conference games (at Coastal Carolina, at MTSU, at Xavier) plus the Diamond Head Classic (New Mexico, Harvard, Oklahoma, BYU, UNI) all before SEC play. It is imperative that this team develops an identity early and trust the coaching staff if they want to be successful this season. With key position players in their second year in the system, plus a talented recruiting class (arguably the best recruiting class in Auburn Basketball history) the potential remains there. All in all I think we see a better overall team play, but that may not necessarily translate in W and Ls this season. I think Auburn finishes 13-17 and 7-11 in conference play. kwren34 18
I sure hope yall are right, but i just don't see it this year. With all the unknowns and the lack of a true big man to hold down inside. Next year i can see this team taking leaps and bounds forward. I've always thought that year 3 with CBP would be the year of fruition.

gravejd 3,249
I would really like to see the team make the nit this year. I also hope we do better in SEC play. With that schedule we won't be surprised by SEC teams talent so I hope that translates to more conference wins. I agree that NCAA is probably a little further into the future. I'll see how this year's team does before guessing how next year's team will do.
