Arrived at scene and within 6 second began firing and put 16 shots into a suspect with a knife that was walking away. Happened last year.

Van Dyke has at least 18 previous complaints of racism and excessive force against him, and most likely more but the FOP has shut off that data to the public.

Never doubted. The police and the prosecutors have had that video for more than a year now and only took action after a judge ordered that the video be released to the public. They lied. They covered up a murder.

So far we have murder and falsifying a police report. Guess we can also add destruction of evidence to the list.

Wrong. They weren't going to release the dashcam footage until a judge ordered it. They charged the officer, who has been getting paid to be a desk jockey in the interim, when they realized the s*** was going to hit the fan when the public saw what actually went down.

Thank God for this judge, otherwise the usual narrative would have prevailed, a bad cop would have gotten away with it and we'd have never been aware of the coverup from the city and the CPD.

That interpretation is so perverse as to be humorous. This thread is about the cold blooded murder of a kid by a cop. Yet, in your twisted mind, we cannot address that without bringing up gang shootings? Why? Do the gang shooting somehow attenuate the actions of the cop?
