Looks like Miller just committed to LSU (per a couple of the recruiting sites).

Tough loss. He was a top target in a big area of need.

Backup plan for Latu? Either way, great get and it always feels good to steal one from the feaux tigers.

OT Patrick Miller, West Palm Beach, Florida, Dwyer has switched his commitment to Auburn as #LSU had no room for him to enroll at midterm.

That sounds kind of fishy.

Snicker.....love it. He's filled out a good bit as well.....

Nothing fishy here. The kid really liked Auburn, the small town, and Coach Grimes.

I don't think so. Auburn was recruiting Miller very hard before Miller committed to LSU. If anything, the timing sounds like Latu was originally a replacement for Miller.

I think the LSU twitter is bogus information. There is no such thing as "room for a mid-term enrollee". He will count against the 25 limit whether he enrolls at mid term or signs in February and starts school whenever. See Auburn's Mitchell, Pike and Calloway for further information. A school could, in theory, enroll all 25 guys early if they had the grades.

In any case we needed another top O-line prospect in this class and Miller is a great fit. :cheer:
