Well, I thought Dyer, Florence (minus the 2 penalty play), and OMac played well.

OLine and DLine not so much.

Ware Eagle!  And I don't care if we are 40 point underdogs next week, don't back down this week.  Tell the Updykes we have been saving up all year for them and that we are going to bring it!

...
Chizik: "I can make all kinds of excuses about the times we didn't play well...I can pull them out of a kitchen sink now."
...
Chizik, on the fumbles: "It's very concerning. And it's by guys who don't usually fumble. It's disappointing."
...
Chizik mentioned Jonathon Mincy, Chris Davis and Jermaine Whitehead having good days in the secondary in T-Bell's absence.
...
Chizik said team wanted to go to power running game in second half, try yo wear Samford down. Rushed for 162 after break, 88 before.
...
Chizik said AU "will have to be a much better football team" against Bama: "We'll have to unequivocally play the best game of the year."
...
Chizik said he can't recall a game this season in which offense, defense and special teams were all playing at their best.
...
Chizik, on Iowa State: "Awesome win for those guys, awesome win for the program. It was well-deserved."

Chizik: We understand we have a lot to clean up, and a lot to get better at.

Chizik: We know who we've gotta play next week. We know what it means.

No update on Brandon Mosley's injury from Chizik.

I saw this on FB and my first thought was that this could possibly be the last time we roll the trees for a football victory.

Makes me immensely sad.

And Richardson had one of the most awesome performances of the year against a vey good Georgia Southern team, solidifying himself as one of the favorites for the Heisman, according to Spencer Tillman...

I didn't get to use my tickets to the game today due to a graduate class so I was wondering from someone that went what the tribute to Pat was like. My parents were there when he was and my mother had several classes with him. Growing up in the Bo Jackson era, I still remember my father teaching me about Sullivan to Beasley. Probably the only first grade girl to spout statistics about Pat Sullivan circa 1989 haha.

Playing Samford really doesn't warrant much attention, especially when we are unimpressive doing so.
