OL A.J. Greene, a fifth-year senior who started 12 games last season, has turned down an offer to participate in the NFL Combine and will not pursue a career in football. A 2010 injury that resulted in a broken leg and dislocated ankle remains a daily nuisance. "My priorities have nothing to do with football anymore," he said.

Thank you AJ. Your family will appreciate your decision 10 years from now when you can still walk and run playing with your kids in the yard. WDE.
Can defensive problems be attributed to youth? Chizik: "We're in game 4 now. We don't have any new players."

I know we say this about a lot of guys, but AJ is a true Auburn man. I challenge anyone to find someone that understands 'I believe in work, hard work' more than this guy. Its a shame that he wont pursue football anymore, but kudos for him for wanting to do something else. AJ is big in the music industy, with his own label, Yeanheard Music.
I believe in Auburn, and love it!

Good. Now maybe they can invite someone a real chance to make it to the NFL. How the hell did The Matador AJ Greene get an invite anyways? Did scouts not watch AU games?

We don’t need a T-shirt from Wal Mart boasting about things that never were to boost our ego. We don’t use our battle cry as a taunt to prop up our self-esteem. Our sense of worth isn’t determined by the number of stickers and flags we can put on our car." - Never To Yield Foundation

Maybe someone forgot the horrific injury he sustained. Or maybe you just didn't remember the sweat and pain and practice he went through just to entertain you every weekend you watched these young men play their hearts out. Or maybe you're just a d!¢k. As a lifetime fan of all things Auburn University, I will hope it's one of the first two choices.

I would not call watching Trotter run for his life "entertainment." Greene was the main factor in Trotter developing David Carr syndrome in 6 weeks. Wont miss seeing Greene not finish blocks or triple team the DT leaving Melvin Ingram unblocked to murder Trotter.
