I was bored so I pulled out the Tech-AU program from 2003 in Atlanta and Wes Durham wrote a great piece about a friend lost. Its hards to believe its 9 years since Fyffe passed. Rod is doing a great job. This is in no way a shot at him but Fyffe will always be missed.
Life seems sometime unfair. Again no offense to Rod but I wish Fyffe was around for that Bynum kick in Glendale.

My dad and I ate breakfast with Fyffe in Auburn before we went and played with him and another at a golf tournament.
He was a really nice guy. I don't remember it all too well, but it was a great time.

"We are Auburn. That’s all that matters, not what somebody on the outside thinks or doesn’t think. We are not defined or limited by the perceptions of others. We don’t need a T-shirt from Wal Mart boasting about things that never were to boost our ego. We don’t use our battle cry as a taunt to prop up our self-esteem. Our sense of worth isn’t determined by the number of stickers and flags we can put on our car." - Never To Yield Foundation

Rod is doing a great job, but I sure wish I could have experienced more games with Fyffe. I just really became an Auburn fan the year he passed when I enrolled at Auburn. Being from NC I dint have the history that most do, but I love my Aunurn Tigers. Will definitely miss Stephens at Jordan Hare as well. I've now only had two great guys to listen to for just a short while...sigh...

I pulled out "20 Years of Great Calls" the other day and gave it a spin...it's amazing the memories his voice brought back.
