  3. Gosnell is a bad example, as he’s currently rotting in SCI Huntington for the rest of his natural life, convicted for murder, no less. He’d likely be on death row too if not for pleading out. Not to mention that he was an abortion practitioner in the same sense that Timothy McVeigh was a licensed demolition man. And besides, making obtaining an abortion more onerous is how you end up with more unscrupulous individuals, more Gosnells. The reason he provided so many illegal late-term abortions was exactly because he was one of the few that would perform them. Sure, you could pass

  6. Tournament hosted by Cal State Fullerton on two fields. The “primary field” is Anderson Family Field and the secondary field is PGF. From older satellite images when PGF was not totally complete they are adjacent. There are 14 teams; with Auburn, Florida and Tennessee being the SEC participants. Actually, Florida opens on Wednesday night with UCLA. It appears the only TV is a live streaming subscription offering (can do monthly I believe) through Flosoftball. They actually have a pretty good article on their site “What to Watch for at the Judi Garmin Classic” which includes comments abo

  13. +1 It's funny when I see someone question their program relative to preparing players for the draft. Like that operation is not already a factory with direct lines to NFL scouts & pro coaches year 'round. Some will question why they held 2 pro days for their players, like the little Nazi doesn't know what he's doing or hasn't canvased the major nfl scouts to provide them with every possible bit of information they need to evaluate and analyze his players.

  20. I know you posted this in good conscience...but this has actually little to nothing to do with the bill. This is just wildly inaccurate talking points that have almost zero to do with the reality of the bill. "Brandi, of Physicians for Reproductive Health, said she had never heard of a case of a child born after a failed abortion attempt. “This is a part of the false narrative around this bill and abortion later in pregnancy,” she said." Words fail at the utter incredulity of this statement. We have people that give lectures etc after having survived Abortions themselves. This is

  22. On this particular legislation, would be null and void if we could agree to limit abortion ( strictly by choice) to 20 weeks, I could even agree on 16 or 18 if the procedure is available and affordable to the indegent. IOW if the child could live outside it’s too late, unless it’s determined it’s not going to make it any way or the mother is in trouble. I think virtually all women know by twelve weeks (at most)they are pregnant. You can’t have a bunch of roadblocks that push the term past the limit. We have to stop creating scenarios to keep fighting about. I don’t think either side trul

  25. NO. It's just changing the procedure the officials use to determine a legal formation. In Federation rules we always counted 7 on the line of scrimmage. Now, we are going to just be counting 4 in the backfield instead. It's the way the college officials do it. That's why when the white hat reports an illegal formation, he says too many players in the backfield instead of not enough on the line of scrimmage. The requirement of having at least 5 offensive players on the line refers to numbering. 5 players on the line must be numbered 50-79. The others on the line can be numbered anythi

  26. "“This legislation is based on lies and a misinformation campaign, aimed at shaming women and criminalizing doctors for a practice that doesn’t exist in medicine or reality,” Ladies and gentlemen, I see your "doesn't exist" and raise you one "Kermit Gosnell." Also, nothing in this has anything to do with "shaming women." And the only way it would criminalize a doctor is if they fail to give the baby proper medical care in the event it survives an abortion attempt. “is a stark departure from the 2002 law as it singles out abortion and applies strict new requirements on abortion

  28. I think Democrats probably feel that it impinges on not only fundamental rights recognized by SCOTUS (see Roe and Casey), but also the general right to privacy. Additionally, they likely maintain that it unnecessarily intrudes upon the medical profession through potentially interfering with physician-discretion by exposing them to liability. The Court has always been wary of legislation that "infiltrates" the Doctor's office.

  30. Dinson keeping his feet in the present Bryan Matthews • AuburnSports.com AUBURN | Jeremiah Dinson is ready to step into a leadership role on defense this season. In fact, the senior is already dispensing advice to Auburn’s younger players when it comes to preparing for the opener against Oregon Aug. 31. In short, it’s way too early to even think about the Ducks right now. “I could tell you we’re going to do this and win this, but we just have to win today, day by day. Just be where your feet are

  33. I agree. I may be in an “Auburn bubble”. But I heard almost as much about Worm as I did Schwartz, and I heard MORE about Worm’s speed than JDavis. It came from Bleacher Report so I chalk it up to lazy “reporting” - in the loosest sense of the word. I bet there are at least a dozen other kids from other schools that are saying “where the heck is _______ on this list?” as well. However, it is cool that the top 2 on the list are from Auburn, even if the list is obviously flawed.

  35. To the first question - Sort of. If SCOTUS grants cert., they could frame the issue precisely how the lower Courts did, or differently. As you alluded to, it seems the primary concern is with Executive action that seemingly circumvents the legislative process. Thus, the question remains, how will that concern reduced to a judicial question and in what fashion? Will it be a means/ends analysis? Will they balance competing interests and if so, what level of scrutiny will be applicable? Will there be a particular Constitutional Clause or Federal Statute at center stage and if so, which ones?
