  1. We are talking about the guy who hauls in $7mil/year and still rolls around in an F150. That's just Gus, money didnt change him. He's a humble man. I am glad he got his pay day, knowing what we know now, he was stuck in the middle of a sh*t storm and could do no right by the fans or the powers that be. He ran a clean program, his players loved him, and he did everything the right way. For that alone, I will miss him as our Head Coach. I will not miss his on the field performances, however.

  2. Just when we’d begun to worry about the fact that new Head Coach Bryan Harsin seemed to be moving at an uncomfortably slow pace in assembling a staff, he has proven those worries to be unfounded. Personally, I’ve enjoyed the fact that, unlike the “search” for a head coach, the hiring of staff has been subject to very little speculation and media coverage. While we all want to know what’s going on, and would love a bombshell announcement of a complete staff replete with highly successful and widely respected coaches, that’s not really practical. What IS practical is assembling a group of coac

  5. That's great for him 21 Million Dollar man. Honestly I'm genuinely happy that he managed to change his life in such a short span of time. He needs to enjoy it and maybe it will help him turn the corner as a coach if he wants to get back into it some day. Nonetheless, if he invests well, he can eventually become a Senator too.

  6. JJ deserves some love. He looks like a different player these last few games. On both ends. As if the light bulb has come on. He's shooting with confidence. Not forcing things. His court awareness and defense looks better. Under control. Honestly, Coop and JJ make a pretty good tandem if you ask me.

  8. Between Grant’s past medical issues and the fact that we have 5 scholarship TEs currently on the roster and another freshman coming in, this had to be the best possible outcomes for all parties involved. I hope he stays healthy and finds success at SMU.

  9. The team is going to miss Kristi. She was a great mother figure to a lot of the players. Guys like Marlon Davidson adored her. I hope Harsin's wife can do something similar for players that do not have a good home life.

  10. 1. Gunner Stockton will end up at Auburn. 6'1" | 195 lbs | PRO QB | 2022 Gunner Stockton (Rivals.com) Farrell’s take: FACT. When offensive coordinator Mike Bobo left South Carolina for Auburn, the writing was on the wall for four-star ’s decommitment from the Gamecocks. And now that it’s happened, Stockton will clearly end up playing for an attractive offense under new Auburn coach Bryan Harsin and for Bobo. And he’ll bring some key skill position players with him down the line as well. This is a big

  12. Cruises in his F150 and takes his wife out to dinner at Waffle House. Obviously, that is the kind of lifestyle he enjoys the most. A man of simple pleasures and high moral values. I've always respected the man, even though I was not always pleased with his coaching decisions.

  13. I think @bigbird @augolf1716 @Tigerbelle and quite a few others will remember back on AuburnEagle when a physical packet of documents was provided to the NCAA showing that a recruit was driving a charger registered to a booster and living in an apartment owned by a booster AND the title for both was provided along with financial information about the recruits family. The NCAA's response was basically "ok, and? We're not touching it."

  20. Or Dante Hightower literally beating a guy and trying to run him over with his car and the Tuscaloosa police department refusing to investigate. That one isnt so much NCAA related, just something people forget happened. On the NCAA side... Or their basketball program only getting a $5000.00 fine after paying Colin Sexton, giving his brother a job paying $40,000 a year, and playing him all season.

  25. The Buck position hasn't been a strength for us, no. And I'm not sure that much of Holland's production couldn't be attributed to Brown and Davidson vaporizing the pocket on every passing down while Davises Carlton and Javaris blanketed receivers. And Carl Lawson was one of the most college-ready freaks out of high school we've seen. He definitely developed at Auburn but he was every bit the top-5 recruit he was billed to be, and he's proving it at Cincinnati. Also, Fairley gets all the acclaim, but Rock probably got more out of Antonio Coleman, Hot Carter, and Dee Ford than w

  26. They predominantly played a lot of Cover-3 with both Corners in the sky and the SS closer to the box on a curl/flat defense. Would sometimes switch to man but rarely sent pressure out of 0 or man blitzes. May use combo coverages based on some of the alignments I've seen in the TN games but that's harder for me to discern off a glance without all 22.

  27. Yeah, going from Oklahoma to there tells you that a lot of staffs were uncertain. I liked the guy but if there's any position we didn't need to use a space on right now it's TE. To me this tells us how desperate Gus was getting that he wanted a TE others weren't clearing, a linebacker with troubling background drama, and some other issues that are starting to come up.

  28. @AUnCullman it was a rivals article He has not been a five star on rivals yet. If he keeps his current overall ranking number order at 30 or better though he will get a five star down the line as rivals adds more five stars as the cycle progresses. He is a five star on the composite though which is what we use on the site.

  35. Y'all need to click on the link Dub posted about the stuff Amazon cited in its court filing that Parler refused to deal with. I'll also add this: He outlines some of the things Parler refused to moderate as well, but also highlights the fact that Amazon warned Parler for weeks that they were violating the AWS Terms of Service by leaving this stuff up. Scroll down and read the thread and click on the court docs provided. This was not a "silencing of conservatives." It was a de-platforming of a site that refused to rein in and moderate people threatening violence. But al

See, you didn’t even question the opinion, just believed it to be true. You even posted another article to back it up. The left blows a dog whistle and you find an opinion piece to post.

  37. I agree that they don't need to cheat...now. However, when they were early in the process, building what they are now, they were blatant and overt with their cheating. That initial run of #1 classes, brought in and paid for by the REC machine led to their success and is why they don't necessarily have to now, although it does continue just on a much lesser scale.
