  1. As a former high school coach at a small school I can tell you one thing, if he's good enough he will be noticed. I can guarantee you that. Doesn't matter the size of the school. These college coaches make a living off of being able to find guys that can play for them. Trust me when I tell you there is no need to waste your money. Also, the above advice is also correct. Make a few tapes and go to camps. In due time things will work themselves out.

    I am proud of Auburn

for the way they have handled all of this thus far. I am glad that we aren't just saying we have no comment this time around. Sometimes you have to fight fire with fire and it seems that we aren't going to lay down and take it this time. I hope the war for our reputation and good name continues. We don't have to respond to ever single negative word said about us in the media. However, when there are things being thrown in our face that aren't true we have to defend ourselves to the end. War Eagle! It's Great To Be An Auburn Tiger!

I'm Sure I'm Not The Only One

that is glad we are about to put the year that was 2012 to bed. At least as far as our football team is concerned. I look forward to wiping the slate clean and starting out fresh and new. I can't wait to see what Gus has in store for us with the conclusion of his coaching hires and the finalization of his recruiting class. Here's to 2013 and the promise of a chance to right the ship and get Auburn football back to where it's supposed to be! War Eagle and Happy New Year!

Things I am thankful for Jim Fyffe...

You know, I've never really thought about that before, but you are exactly right. I in all honesty think he deserves a statue just as much as anyone outside JHS. I'm sure some will disagree, but he was just as much a part of Auburn football for me as any coach or any player in my lifetime. He was a true Auburn man. I miss his voice every football Saturday. Damn.............. I agree. I don't want this man's legacy to be nothing more than a name. Perhaps it's time to put together a petition and submitted it to the University while his voice, and importance, is still clear in everyone's mind. I would be proud as hell to add my signature as an alumni. GREAT idea. GET IT STARTED Brother! I will sign and can promise my ENTIRE family will too ! ! ! I'm on board! Shouldn't have taken a bunch of guys on a message board to come up with this. It should have been done by our university already.

    GA's/QC staff fired this morning

Just to be clear, you think that firing 4 GA's are part of something that will get him fired in a few years? It's just a case of: This guy has absolutely no idea what he's talking about. He has ZERO clue as to what any of these guys brought to the table or didn't bring to the table.

USA Today Greatest High school Rivalry

5 Million dollars is quite a bit of money.
  8. Yeah, that 61 year old DC just had the number FOUR total defense in the country in 2011. In the SEC I might add. At SOUTH CAROLINA. Top 15 in the country every year he was at USC. But you're right. He's old and dumb and will never amount to anything.

Will Kodi Burns be back with Malzhan?

A true Auburn man! You want to talk about a guy that could relate to the team as a whole and show them how to become men just as he did while he was at Auburn? There is no better guy to have around the players! I think it is an easy decision.

Breaking news: Shooting at KC Chiefs Complex

What is wrong with people? I'm so tired of reading these stories.

And that is certainly a positive. I just think in basketball where one or two players can be the difference in being a top 10-15 team or a 250+ ranked team we should be a little farther ahead than where we are right now. The mistakes we make, especially in key situations is alarming (see Chubb's ridiculous TO that probably cost us the game). These types of things are what concerns me with the Bball program. Why is someone as old as Chubb STILL making these mistakes? I'm certainly not giving up on them, but we need to start winning sooner rather than later.

I get what you are saying, but I have one question. When can we as a fan base expect to win and win all the time? Not just in Bball, but across the board? I'm so sick of hearing, well we can't expect perfection or wait til next year. We've been hearing that for a long time and it's passed old now.

I can't wait for the masses to come and spoon feed us the we're getting better garbage. I'm sick of moral victories. In the end it's about W's and L's. We've been getting a lot more L's..........
