  1. If you have a membership, his articles are available here: https://scout.com/college/auburn/Article/StatTigers-Upon-Further-Review-Miss-State-at-Auburn-Game-108305098
  2. This is not relevant to the conversation. My point isn't that I called out the coaches for making a bad hire when it was done. My point is that the administration knew of his history and chose to ignore it. Whether or not I publicly objected to the hire on a forum does not change the fact that it was a bad decision.
  3. I have to respectfully disagree. This was someone who was directly responsible for us being on probation for years, regardless of how long ago it was. He was a known cheater and we put him in a position of responsibility in the program. This was, in my opinion, an inexcusably bad hire.
  4. Why was he employed to begin with? Does no one remember this? https://www.washingtonpost.com/archive/sports/1991/10/21/players-tapes-reveal-payments-at-auburn/a8d35ad0-6609-4586-8549-27227ea015f4/?utm_term=.bbbefa3970ae
  5. From the article: "Greg Sankey is essentially making fun of the Auburn to the SEC East discussion. Says it’s not talked about except int he media. — Dan Wolken (@DanWolken) May 30, 2017" and "Sankey on the Auburn to the SEC East: "It's not on the agenda." Sankey is making fun of the entire discussion brought up by Pat Dye. — Matthew Stevens (@matthewcstevens) May 30, 2017" Can someone explain why that's "making fun of Auburn". I'm not sure I see it. Sankey only said that it wasn't on the agenda to discuss; what makes this "making fun of Auburn"?
  6. Whenever someone mentions alot, I think of this: http://hyperboleandahalf.blogspot.com/2010/04/alot-is-better-than-you-at-everything.html?m=1
  7. I thought our compliance dept already nixed KB?
  8. I don't know, I haven't seen any of those reports. I can't say I agree with them though. Everything I've seen says this attack was pretty brutal. If I were Stoops, I wouldn't have given him a second chance; but that's just my opinion.
  9. " Factors which raise an assault to an aggravated assault typically include the use of a weapon, the status of the victim, the intent of the perpetrator, and the degree of injury caused. " Emphasis mine from this link.
  10. Not having to put up with this is what made AE so great. If I wanted to engage the bammers I could go to Rivals or scout or AL.com .... or just listen to the idiots at work. I come here for auburn news without having to listen to the bammer trash talk.
  11. This is exactly why I asked that question in the first place. If the NCAA is allowed to set this precedent, it will happen again and again. And pretty soon there will be no investigations, just punishments. I agree with you both. Emmert is a disaster. I have to disagree with all three of you. If this isn't a lack of institutional control, I do not know what is.
  12. She's a milamo chick. She looks good, from a mile or mo away.
