  1. A video of the sound being tested? Hmmm :-\ ......
  2. Didn't realize we hopped in a Delorean and transported Kelly Leak from 1976...we now have one bad azz punter......... Or wait...is it Tommy Shaw from 1978? I. Think Tommy Shaw is from Montgomery. He is- I was a big Styx fan back in the day; Damn Yankees.....meh....
  3. I remember watching a special on that one. Can't recall what channel or the name of it. It's called "Grizzly Man". Interesting to watch and sad on multiple levels, most especially that a beautiful bear was killed because a guy was acting like a numb-nut amateur bear expert. Not sure how this has anything to do with EMB.......
  4. Coleman could handle him Hope he does better with Fields then he did with Garret He'll be better this year then last year. I'm hoping (and expecting) to see the same quantum leap from Shon that we saw with Greg Robinson between years 1 & 2 as starter
  5. Sweaty nip not good....generally speaking
  6. Which one's Fullwood? The one that looks like he was one of the best RBs to ever play at Auburn. The other guys look like just wannabes at this point (I hope they get there).
  7. Thanks. These are both really insightful comments.I have a much better understanding of our defensive problems now.
  8. The definition of being "stout" on defense must be redefined in this current era. During the 1989 season, 29.2% of the offenses at the D1 level, averaged 400-yards or more per game for the season. During the 2014 season, it was 50.4% of the teams. I hear you and I completely understand. I don't expect a return to that era statistically but would like to have a feeling we can stop a team when we have to-haven't had any confidence in our ability to do that for at least 5 years. Gotcha and I agree. Would be nice to see more consistency on "D". Oh,and thanks for your work. I really look forward to your posts- always very informative. WDE!

  10. Cheer me up Doc! These recruits are killing my nerves! :)/> Top 12? Why not top ten? If we aren't top nine we're screwed. If you ain't first, yer last. True dat, Ricky Bobby......that just happened.
  11. This just in: We have been awful on defense for way too long. I hope Muschamp can turn that around. I miss the days (like when I was in school mid-1980s) when we were reliably stout defensively (for the most part).

  13. They're looking fit. Hope it translates into winning football games. Looks like they can compete in the CrossFit games if nothing else.
  14. If his play lives up to his appearance....look out
  15. The other takeaway: if you accomplish those things you are palying at a high level pretty consistently. Look at the teams and toatal number of games involved. The other shocker: how the heck did Bammer lose 6 games doing all four?
  16. Problem with your statement is: Chiz didn't always stand out of the way. Just ask Ted Roof. True that. So who was standing in Ellis Johnson's way the past two season ? Must have been the ghost of Chiz.... My bad-I thought this thread was about Chizik. Ellis Johnson get hired by UNC too?

  18. What? Did you miss the SEC Championship, and the title game? Gene Chizik won a national title in his second year. Gene Chizik was by far the worst coach at AU since Barfield and maybe including Barfield had it not been for Cam, Nick, T Rocker and Gus (the OC). Gus has had one very good year and one lackluster year as HC. The jury is still out on Gus as a HC. wde Are there people who still think Chizik had anything to do with that NC season? 1. Hired Malzahn 2. Didn't impose on Malzahn until we had our highest level of success in program history and were trying to build on it (not a positive but it's something that he did) 3. Possessed an entire staff that we still paying off now Anyway the point is, Malzahn was more of a coach in their tenure than Chizik was This
  19. I could care less what he does and don't plan to keep track. Grateful we won a natty on his watch but anybody that's honest with themselves knows that was Gus, Cam, and Nick with Chiz staying out of the way. Was a terrible hire when it happened and I was glad to see him gone.
  20. Because he's underrated......sounds smartass but also true. He's a three star because he's the number one FB on 247's composite. No FB is going to be a 4* plain and simple. Not because he's underrated. If he was rated as an RB I wager he'd be a solid 4*. Yep He also hasn't played a down at RB at his new weight. It will be an interesting senior season to keep an eye on, from both a production and ranking standpoint. 835 yds, 13 TDs in the 2013 playoffs when KJ was hurt. New weight or not he can play RB. Obviously, time will tell but he's shown how productive he can be when he's given the opportunity. Wasn't questioning his ability to play RB, just stating that he has done so at a much heavier weight than what he will next year. Not saying that it will be better or worse, just making a general statement. As well as he played at a heavier weight, he might be world class at 215. We'll see. I hear ya. Excited to see what MM does this fall. Maybe not as athletic but I think he can be a better RB than KJ. Even better, like KJ, he's a quality person.
