  1. So, according to Spencer Hall (@edsbs) Auburn is "forever college football's most chaotic team". I was hoping that the Tigers would live up to the premise of the article and ruin UGA's shot at the playoffs. Guess I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up so high... Posting this now for levity's sake, for all of us Auburn fans who have ever used the words "consistently inconsistent" to describe the program or who have ever exclaimed "That is so Auburn, it's what we do" (setting a new FBS record for the most consecutive made PATs and then missing the next one in the game vs. Arky comes to mind). This is not meant as a bash of our beloved Tigers, it's just me trying to cope with this weekend's disappointing loss by sharing what I hope some may find humorous. WDE! The Auburn Tigers: College Football's Greatest Ruiner of Things
  2. What I’d like to know is what if Schwartz had stopped before making contact so as to “screen” the football from any Georgia players? If a Georgia player made contact with him would it still be a penalty? Enquiring minds want to know...
  3. Like someone said earlier, I can’t even muster the energy to be mad. And I know better than to get my hopes up that we might be able to beat the Turds 2 weeks from now... #DefenseSquandered #SeasonSquandered
  4. Good stuff, thought Mr. Tebow was gonna piss himself laughing 🤣
  5. Pretty good observations, there's at least one sportswriter (I'd venture to say there's a lot more) that agrees with you...
  6. Here’s where Burrow proves whether he deserves the Heisman this year....
  7. I - and I think a majority of AU's fans - agree(d) with both of you. But Gustav "Silver-Lining Killer" Malzahn has done ixnayed any possibility of that happening now. 😡
  8. At this point, I’d be fine with the Defense taking a knee on the field. Have them all just turn and look at Gus and do nothing.
  9. Gonna take a WAG (a conservative one) and say Auburn wins 31-13. Hopefully though, as others have mentioned, a desire for payback and Mr. Nix settling down and hitting some deep throws makes my score prediction for the Tigers seem way wayyyy conservative! Also, I wouldn't mind seeing the Defense launch Shrader or Stevens like below... Credit goes to @33KSU (on Twitter) for the video - excellent work! - and to @hagerIV (also on Twitter) for adding the music. Shrader - Shooting Star.mp4
  10. Jeez, that's rough AU, sorry to hear about that. That area up there is pretty nice, what with Gatlinburg and Great Smoky Mountains National Park being close by. Hope that you're able to quickly get back to the point health-wise where you can get out into nature, provided you like doing that sort of thing (I know I do).
  11. ...the 5th Anniversary of the greatest final play in a college football game ever! Go and wish your favorite Fighting Updike fan a Happy KickSix Day!
  12. I'm hoping someone at Jordan-Hare goes full Randy Quaid-from-Major League 2 on Malzahn today. The heckling needs to start and not stop til he's gone.
  13. Can't block, can't run, can't catch, can't tackle. That's ball game boys and girls...
  14. "We have met the enemy and he is us."
  15. Think I mentioned it in a post after the loss last week. Anyone who heckles Malzahn and gets it on video gets at least $50 from me, maybe more depending on if it makes it to ESPN or the SEC Network. He needs to be made to feel as uncomfortable as possible, since this is now how I feel when I watch Auburn play. I'm dead serious about this, if I lived in Auburn I might get arrested for stalking because I'd go out of my way to heckle the man. It's sad that I can only hope that something like that would make it easier for Mr. We Had A Good Week Of Practice to resign.
