  1. On the radio this morning (97.7 out of Huntsville), they were discussing FSU going after Mark Stoops. If that happened, would CGM be a good fit at Kentucky? I think he would be - Kentucky just upgraded their facilities, I believe, and the pressure, while still SEC level, would be less.
  2. Hopefully he'll be cleared soon. Looks like he's staying focused in the gym.
  3. He's a mortgage loan officer, living in Auburn, I believe.
  4. Pinson Valley just tied it at 43 with 2:38 left in the game, on a dime from Bo, then a 2-pt conversion. Both these kids are ballers!
  5. 36 - 35 Austin, after 3 quarters. Austin ate up the clock in the 3rd, but Pinson scored on their 1 possession off a nice pass from Bo.
  6. This would make sense to me. With Gus being Gus, I'm sure he wanted to limit the game film available to Clemson. That could partially explain some of the sloppy execution in the first half. In addition to first game jitters, if they had been practicing, say, 90% Chip offense, in preparation for Clemson, and 10% Gus offense, in preparation for GS, I wouldn't expect them to look 100% polished today. As far as getting ready to face Clemson's D goes, facing our D in practice would serve that purpose better, while maintaining the element of surprise. My fingers are crossed that that's the case. WDE!
  7. I'll be the first to admit that I know nothing about the intricacies of O-line play, but surely he must be doing something right to get the stamp of approval from Willie Anderson, assuming this isn't just a public relations pitch.
  8. This was tweeted by a radio station here in Scottsboro, so I believe you are correct.
  10. War Eagle! Here's a short article comparing the quarterbacks in tonight's big showdown between 5A #1 Scottsboro and #2 Etowah. I'm excited to see the type of game Bo has when the opposing offense has the potential to compete in a high scoring game. Per, Scottsboro has outscored opponents 363 to 92, or by an average of 45.4 to 11.5, with almost 73% of their points coming in the first half. Bo's leadership and mental toughness will be tested tonight.
  11. If anyone is interested in listening to radio broadcasts of Bo's games, you can download the WWIC mobile app. Scottsboro is live at Guntersville currently.
