  1. If you see his commitment video he shows his phone with Malzahn's name and what appears to be Malzahn's phone number too, hmmm
  2. Not intruding but fair point. I keep in mind we are dealing with sports. Unless you are Favre, Brady, Manning, Montana if there is a chance that a position can be upgraded I am for it.
  3. I guess the reason I am not so outspoken against this incident is the number of cases where I have seen things in reverse and the male is defending himself but gets accused of domestic violence even though the female instigated the situation or was the aggressor. Had an incident at a former workplace where a customer was being harassed by his estranged wife and one of her female friends. When he left they jumped him and then called the police to get him arrested. I live by the rules keep your hands to yourself. If you initiate it then be ready for how the other party reacts.
  4. like having 5 of his 9 touchdown passes on the season come against Sun Belt schools
  5. He overreacted, he broke 4 bones in her face. She also should never laid her hands on him. What is interesting is that the only case against him is a civil suit.
  6. The things in the post were not all directed at White. They were a myriad of issues with the current quarterbacks. When JJ wasn't living up to the hype, he was pulled for an unproven SW. I have a similar question for you. What has SW done to keep the job ahead of Woody Barrett?
  7. Brent handles a lot of things badly. Mixon overreacted, but she should also have never placed her hands on him. My parents raised 3 boys and my mom was adamant to never let anyone male or female put their hands on us. I know she would not want us to overreact either. Brent should not have even brought the subject either.
  8. I don't play pretend. So what do you not agree with?
  9. I know that the current quarterbacks either can't run the offense AU likes to run, doesn't know the offense AU likes to run, can't consistently throw the ball down the field without falling to the ground or can stay healthy long enough to be a factor against the big boys.
  10. The only quarterback competition next year should be between Stidham and Barrett. SW may have been the best AU had the last 2 years but he is still is a liability. Does not provide a consistent downfield passing threat. That can be seen by the type of pass plays that were called when he was in the game compared to ones called when JJ was in the game. To win against the big boys you need a quarterback that has the ability to beat you downfield through the air, not one who can complete 77% of passes when most of them are just the wide receiver screens, pop passes, swing passes and this thing where a receiver comes in motion and you flip it forward to him. Let's not forget the fact that he is fragile, not as bad as Sam Bowie but keep him back there long enough and he will pass Sam
  11. This was a great post in so many ways
  12. Michael Vick's style works strictly for him. What he does can not be taught
  13. I am not saying they had a stellar game. The o-line did miss some blocks, but there were times when there was no pressure and he got happy feet. The receivers dropped 3 maybe 4 passes, but there were plenty of passes that were off target. As accurate as he has been this season, a few of the completions were because of the receiver's skill but that is with any qb. I have seen enough topics on here to know that some who support SW, post things to show that a bad game is everyone else's fault but his. I do not feel that he is the total blame for the loss but his poor play was a factor.
  14. Senior Day against an inferior opponent, JJ should see plenty of time
  15. Criticizing or critiquing a player's performance is not throwing them under the bous. When Sean plays good I acknowledge it, when he plays awful like he did Saturday I acknowledge that too. There seems to be a lot of SW apologists on here. If he has a bad game, then it's the O-line not blocking or the receivers dropping everything or the coaches doing something wrong or Verne and Gary's fault, never that SW played poorly. I think he has done a good not great job, but like with any other part of this team if you play well I will say it, if you don't I will say that too.
