Apparently this had nothing to do with Sunseri. Reggie said he didn't even know Sunseri had left when he posted that.

Apparently, he was later told that if he wanted to keep his "deal" with bama, he better say it was not in reference to Sunseri. But JOX in Birmingham said that is who he was referring to.

Because I think there is a very big question mark as to what that staff will look like this time next year. This is an ODD move to me for Sunseri. Dooley's seat is FLAMING right now.

Sunseri got guaranteed money, which is good for him, but unfortunately recruits look for longevity and may wonder how long these coaches might be at UT. No guarantees no matter how good Sunseri ends up being as a DC that a new HC (under the assumption that they fire Dooley, which many have been screaming for) will retain Sunseri at UT.

Maybe Sunseri sees this as a way to compete for the UT HC job next year if Dooley is no longer around?

BVG needs to give Reggie Ragland a call. We have honest coaches and we need LBs to come in and play right away, while bama has too many as it is.
