Jason Campbell is playing like a 5th Yr Senior!

Check out his pass rating on 3rd down during his career:

2001: 93.24

2002: 121.75

2003: 128.18

2004: 197.69 :big:

Average Yds per pass att on 3rd down:

2001: 5.40

2002: 7.08

2003: 8.21

2004: 9.84 :big:

Coming into this season, Campbell had 4 career TD passes on 3rd down. This season, he already has 6 TD passes on 3rd down.

Last year JC converted 35% of Auburn's obvious passing situations on 3rd down. This year he's hitting on 53%. :big::big:

Of the top pass rated performances against top ten teams ( Since 1981 ), Jason Campbell possesses 6 of them. The next highest is Dameyune Craig with three. :cheer::cheer::cheer:

Curious... any info on how many dropped balls or tackles before the first down were made last year that brings his number down?

My theory is JC hasn't really gotten that much better, he was always playing like this. It was those around him, from coaches to OL to receivers, that weren't playing like they are now. It would be interesting to see some figures to prove me right or debunk me.
