Pre game fly by

I thought having that big old tanker buzz the stadium was AWESOME!

At first I wasn't sure what they were talking about when they said a tanker was doing a fly by. I was trying to figure out what kind of fighter jet is called a tanker. They always use fighter jets, I thought.

It was cool. It was even cooler when at the end of the 3rd quarter they introduced the 3 Alabama Air Natn'l Guardsmen that flew it. Me and a friend of mine were sitting in the stands together and we were like damn! Is that Mike Warren? We knew one of the guys from when we were in school....cool.

I was dragged to a race in Talladega earlier this year and the fly-by was conducted with a B-2.

Being an aviation fanatic, I was glad to see a KC-135 flying overhead. One rarely gets to see a Boeing 707 in the air these days.

I wish they perform some light aerobatics when doing a fly-by with fighters.
