I have heard a couple of times that if there are 4 undefeated teams... the top 2 play in the BCS Championship and the other 2 (AU and Miami lets say) play in the other game. Because there are 2 undefeated teams, they are considered "split National Champs." Would the Coaches Poll in that case be like forced to pick the winner of game #2 as the #1 team? Or is it seperate from the polls? Or is this not even true at all

the coach's poll is tied to the bcs. i can assure you though that the ap will take the winner of usc and oklahoma regardless of what happens outside of them. they love usc more than their own mothers.
