Awesome...

I had said all preseason that JC was better than Eli Manning and everyone thought I was crazy. People... the stats say it all... need I say more?

Completetion % is nice, Avg. per attempt is swell. Those stats don't win games. The reason that Eli was the #1 pick in the NFL last year were due to these numbers:

Total yds: 9949 (3 years)

TDs: 81

Other Heisman hopefuls:

Matt Leinart

Total yds: 4967 (1.5 years)

TDs: 52

Jason White (2003 HT winner)

Total yds: 5936 (2.5 years)

TDs: 59

Last year's totals: 3846yds/40tds/10 ints ---> Heisman Trophy

Jason Cambell

Total yds: 5962yds (3.5 years)

TDs: 38TDs

Obviously JC isn't the same QB as the others listed, we don't need him to be.

AB has run a balanced offense that JC is not the focus of. I think that JC has done a great job. I hope he keeps improving and we keep winning.

I beg to differ...

Since 1981, Auburn is 70-6-0, when we complete 60% of our passes for at least 7.5 yards per pass attempt in the same game.

AU, since 81, has been known for it's RBs, not QBs. Not since Tot have relied on the passing game to carry us to victory. That stat is like saying that when we rush for 500 yds in game we are XX-0. The #1 QB taken in the draft will not be chosen based solely on yards per attempt or completion %. TDs and yardage...
