A question, O King of Numbers, from an unworthy peon:

Can you work up something on the field position battle over the season? It has seemed to me like we're doing a great job of controlling field position. Just wondering if that's true or merely my illusion. How do we compare to the rest of the SEC (and/or major BCS teams)?

...don't know if you have that information or not, however.

Jenny,

I gotta admit. When it comes to Auburn Football, I love being a NERD.

Hey, Stat...how do we know that those are real numbers....you are probably just making those up...come on and come clean...this all just stuff you made up, huh? :big::big::big::lol::lol::lol::lol::P:P

Is that enough to let you know that I am merely trying to amuse you, oh great one?

I was listening to WJOX last week and one of the callers actually quoted "Stats" numbers and credeted him with the research. Our "Stat" has hit the big time a noted football researcher, quoted on syndicated radio. WAY TO GO STAT. :cheer::D

It doesn't matter what you call yourself, Stat. You just keep on keeping on.

There's a quote out there that I've always liked and it comes from our arch nemesis's greatest coach:

{with apologies to AU people everywhere}

"Statistics are for losers and assistant coaches." -- Paul "Bear" Bryant

Now for the kicker: Stat, you need to change your avatar label to Asst Coach.
