hccobb 0
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/columns/stor...ruce&id=1910558 Jason Campbell, AuburnAnother year, another new offensive coordinator for the big QB. Only this season, Campbell has shined in Al Borges' West Coast scheme. He deserves to be on those Heisman lists with any of those other top QBs and shouldn't be punished for being surrounded by great running backs. The interesting thing here is that most see that style of offense as a short-passing game, yet Campbell's yards per attempt (the stat besides touchdown-interception ratio that is probably most telling) is way up from 6 to almost 10 yards per attempt. This year, Campbell has 23 completions that have gone for at least 20 yards. Better still, in the Tigers' three biggest games (LSU, at Tennessee and Arkansas) he has hit 73 percent of his passes for an average of 10.8 yards, six TDs and just one interception.
