Yeah bud, we are good. Light rain so far, predicting 3-9", depending on how everything plays out.

I'm still out west. Staying in Reno tonight, fly home early tomorrow. Could be interesting.

As an aside(long shot), anyone have any recs for breweries in Reno? I have an afternoon to kill...

And it goes without saying that I'm glad your area doesn't appear to be in harm's way.

Your family might want to go ahead and gas up, though, if they haven't already and you guys are between coastal metros and inland metros. I remember when we couldn't get gas in Birmingham during/after Katrina.

You are absolutley right.. It got really rough around town when Katrina hit. We had zero gas for a few weeks due to the influx of evacuees.

Ahhh... that's right. Excellent.

I'll quit opining as though you are new to natural disasters now, lol.

Poutine is a gift from Canada for sure.

It's hard to find good poutine down here.

And I'm just like....fries...cheese...gravy...mmmm...

None of the establishments that sell it down here get the gravy right.

It's a shame. It's like kimchi. It got trendy so all the cool kids started serving their own version of it, but really all they're doing is making something else and calling it "<regional specialty>".

Harumph. Get off my barstool! *weakly shakes old, withered fist in the air*

If what I had wasn't good poutine, I can't wait to try the real thing.

Well let's pack our bags and head up to Newfoundland. ;)

Dale's Pale Ale here. Some SN Oktoberfest, too. And bourbon. And rum.

Already had two SN Oktoberfests today while watching Tejas lose. (Hah!)

Also have Chila rum, Tito's vodka.

My ritual for the really late games after Auburn is a Ten Fidy, which I will have.

Bought a 6er of that earlier this week. Digging it. It's no Ayinger though. Needs more toast/cracker/bread quality imo.

Only one Ayinger, no doubt.
