If you remain number 3 and USC and Oklahoma play in the Orange bowl and Oklahoma loses, and you play someone else in the Sugar Bowl and win by a dramatic margin, and remain undefeated. Wouldn't you have to be co-national champs like USC was last year. If you move up to #2 and play in the Orange bowl, and play for the championship, then it is totally in your hands to win the title. bigsixfive 327 Posted November 2, 2004 Share Posted November 2, 2004 I think we'd have to be ranked #1 in one of the polls, and I don't see that happening if USC beats OU just because the above average team punishing some of the PAC 10 is everyones darling.
