The standing of free speech. I like it, as much as some here like the 2nd amendment. It's quite likely one of my favorite assured personal rights. While I also understand, this board has rules, we are expected to abide by.

You are posting on a forum where someone has posted they wouldn't be troubled if a nation that is an ally of the US is and I quote,"wiped off the face of the earth".

I didn't think the right wing folks liked political correctness, unless of course it is desired about someone you like. Typical, you want it both ways. You want to say what you want to say and can't handle it when someone else does.

I think her rhetoric speaks to the lowest common factors of our nation's politics. You are free to like my opinion or not. I am free to share it and you can like that or not as well.

Admiral Lyons has not been a part of the military in almost 20 years... he has no credibility on the situation at all over any other lay person. Adm Lyons wrote an article in October of 2012 for the Washington times where he cites no sources regarding his claims and uses sources such as radicalismal.org to loosely corroborate his claims.

The truth is that Adm Lyons wrote an article with a lot of opinion and conspiracy. It adds nothing new to the discussion on Benghazi.

I'm not saying his assertion is correct, but none of us are 100% sure it is or is not. However, to believe there was zero negligence by others is naive.

There were numerous attacks or threats in the months leading up to the attack.There was a death threat made on Amb. Stevens. There was an attack on US security personel. There was an attack on the British Ambassador. The Libyan security guarding the compound were being warned to quit their jobs as news of an attack was spreading throughout the community. There were two attacks on the compound itself. Due to all of this, most western countries were evacuating their personnel from the area.

There were requests made for more security. They were ignored. There were Marines stationed in Sicily that could have helped. They were not deployed. The Turks said they would have assisted, but were not asked. Why not? We have an Ambassador's compound under attack and we send who to save them? Nobody. I'd say the families of these dead Americans deserve some answers. Just as anybody would.
