I would have had a hard time recovering from starting three days late in a mini-semester, grade-wise. Apparently he's a much better student than I was.

Mini semester..what's that? ....6 hours or something...and don't forget he will have a tutor to get him off to a good start.

Don't think it was that way back in the old days. He will probably do fine.

Also no promises that he'll actually be taking difficult classes. First mini-semester I took was just bowling and weight training to boost the ole GPA. Fun-fact: Nick Fairley was actually in my weight training class and I suspect for the same reason.

And he actually started that class a few days late as well as I recall.

Ah, bowling and weight training. I can understand not having to worry about missing a day or two. Missing two days of Comparative Vertebrate Anatomy or Introduction to Calculus would be a different situation entirely.
