Thanks. Auburn didn't offered them yet but if so, I'll add them on the board.

Wenonah junior DL/OL Quinnen Williams --> RT @QuinnenD1: i just committed to Auburn this morning #WarEagle

I don't see him on the board anywhere. Any info on this kid?

I'll wait until the confirmation of a commitment.

From the link provided between your post and the response I'm typing now, he's a 6'4 265 DT who runs a 4.85 40 and benchpresses 295lbs. I'm no expert, that sounds like a guy who could carry 295+ lbs very well in 2-3 years. Ole Miss was in on him, too, so we didn't pull him completely out of thin air. Solid B student who takes some honors classes.

Don't understand why we would accept an offer this early from an unknown kid who is a huge AU fan anyway. We could sign him eventually if he does turn out to be one of the best DL recruits for 2016 class. I would expect Auburn to wait and see how it all plays out. Strange to say the least.

Coaches could care less about recruiting rankings. They go by their own evaluations.

It's also about relationships. Coach Craig spoke about it in his recent interview, I believe. Longer relationships with recruits mean a great deal.

Just because he's unknown to you doesn't mean he's unknown. Clearly the coaches know all they need to know about him.

Ole Miss is also interested in him. I heard their defense was pretty good last year.

When his offers start rolling in, he's going to remember who was there first. The commitment might not stick- it's a long way to February '16- but we might end up being very grateful that our coaches had the wisdom to hop on this guy early.

AU has not accepted it yet and likely will not til Junior Day in 2 months at the earliest.

That sounds more logical. I was thinking there could have been some confusion. LT was involved I think and hit the ground running with recruiting.. With things happening so fast wires could easily get crossed a little.

This is an impressive list without a doubt. When all is said and done, we will have done well with our 2015 class.
