I see on AL.COM that AU has offered 6'9" Tommy Burton, Jr. from Lee-Montgomery. Is he a replacement for Horace Spencer?

Spencer seems to be solid right now

Isn't Spencer scheduled to sign between Mar and May of this year? Thought I saw that somewhere when the rest of the class signed but not 100% certain.

Also saw elsewhere that Langford was supposed to be in the crowd tonight. Had to have enjoyed the game and crowd. I am hoping after he watches this year and next, he will feel like he can stay in state at auburn and be a final difference making cog in the pearl machine.

Had some spare time this Sunday so I decided to do a little research on TJ Dunans. With the loss of KT and Mason it is obvious we need help there. First he is 6'5" and can elevate. He is really good and strong around the basket so is a post option against guards and can drive and create his own shot either going to the basket or pulling up for mid-range shot. Not counting 3 PT shots he shoots around 45%. He will need to work on his 3PT shot. He is a strong rebounder and very good ball handler and passer. At the JC level he has played PG, SG, Small Forward and done well at all three positions.

We are getting very solid replacement for one of our guards. With the other guards coming in with Dunans and the other forwards coming in. We will be better next year then this year. How much better will depend on chemistry and coaching and we all know what a great coach Pearl is.

So we have four in this class thus far and according to 24/7 Sports we're ranked 13th. How many more can we take?

With Horace I believe it's 5. That's all we'll take in the 2015 class.

Don't know if this is considered "in this class" ... But I just can't help but think if there was a transfer center that could play next year , CBP would consider it (jmho) ... If we don't get an additional center then I'll assume optimistically they think highly of reeds progress ... or bowers goes back down low and spencer provides extra umph around the rim

There's still a chance with the Providence kid.

Yep, I used the phrase "...in this class..." because of the early and late signing period plus all the transfers I'm simply not smart enough to understand BB recruting.

With that said, I can understand having three and with HS four 4 Star player in one class is awsome. If our classes can be around the top ten year in and year out, with the quality of coaches at Auburn ... dare we say Basketball Power!
