Hard not to get "what could have been" mad every time I think about this band.

They hit the live scene in my hometown hard back in the college days. Had some indirect tie to one of the band members. They were a damn good group.

No kidding? Aw man. I bet they put on a hell of a show.

Really fantastic songs on that album. Totally holds up.

Aaaand he's back to that good heartwarming country. Actually from an older two song recording. Can't find Hey Now. Just needed some old Sturgill after frying my brain with the new stuff.

F*** it. Friday DBT vomit coming at ya.

One of the greatest songs ever written.

I like this one but I have to search hard to find truckers songs I like that Isbell didn’t write.

Totally fair. He is a better songwriter. The other Truckers might even admit it.

Between Patterson and Cooley, I tend to like Cooley's songs better.

Not quite sure how to explain it, but Patterson seems to say more important things, but there's less poetry to it? I dunno.

Cooley can turn a phrase like no other. He's Mark Twain-like with his ability to retool everyday language. But he seems to stay in a particular world.

Jason's just in a different orbit. Than everybody.

Oh my many memories with this song at Auburn especially at the frat house. Rod gives you your moneys worth in concerts back in the day
