AUBURN, Ala. -- After a pair of upset wins last week, Auburn women’s tennis (14-2) has moved up to a program-best No. 11 in the latest ITA Team Rankings. Auburn also has three players ranked in the ITA singles for the first time in program history.

“We have had a great start to this season and this ranking reflects that,” Auburn head coach Lauren Spencer said. “The girls have put in tremendous work this season but we are not done yet. This is a nice barometer of where we are now but there is still a lot to play for.”

Sophomore Andie Dikosavljevic moves up to No. 21 in the latest singles rankings after taking down Texas A&M’s No. 53 Saska Gavrilovska and No. 20 Joana Vale Costa of LSU to open up SEC play. Dikosavljevic is 13-4 on the season.

Two-time All-American Pleun Burgmans moves up to No. 46 in the singles rankings after being ranked No. 47 in the preseason. Burgmans, who is 20-3 this season, is 12 wins away from becoming the all-time leader in combined victories for her career with 174.

Newcomer Alizee Michaud is a perfect 10-0 in the dual-match season after clinching Auburn’s victory over Texas A&M’s with a 2-6, 6-3, 6-1 win. She is ranked No. 76 in the latest ITA singles rankings.

Auburn faces another tough challenge this weekend, putting its ranking on the line in a pair of road matches, at Tennessee and No. 3 Georgia.
