Smh....if you don't break any laws then yes you're innocent, I don't get what's hard for you to understand, like I said you don't know what was being screamed at him. They were definitely screaming something, his reaction as far as flipping off may be a reaction to that. You actually don't know what he was doing prior to being escorted out because there hasn't been any video. And unlike you I'm not grouping all protesters into one group, I'm looking at each incident insidiously. And for you to even try to make it a 50/50 thing is ridiculous. Clearly I don't like PT. He has said some horrible things to me to provoke me, none of that would mean anything if I chased him down and punched him. No matter what was said, no judge would say well that's understandable.....a guy gives me the finger when I'm driving, there isn't a scenario where it's ok or either shared responsibility if I get out my car and punch him.

And yeah you say no to violence but read your posts in this thread....What were you really upset about? You weren't like both sides make me sick, you're going on and on about protesters while making a mini asterisk about what the people at the rally did. Only reason anybody is talking about the people at the rally is because I brought it up. This thread was started to talk about how the people of Chicago randomly mistreated trump....

Cole it wasn't random, it was organized. Chicago DSA was a main player along with MoveOn. The DSA even transported protesters there. They had facebook pages set up and everything. They even instructed on how to get tickets to get inside the rally.

I really don't care about protesting but to disrupt the event so much that it has to be cancelled is a problem in my view. I am sure there would be screaming bloody murder if the shoe was on the opposite foot. Bernie is part of the DSA and attends regular events like house meet ups.

Oh so innocence is by not breaking the law or not being convicted? To be truly innocent means you show character in the face of trouble or unlawful behavior. The protester in North Carolina flipped people off that may or may not have said something. He was giving it to everyone which tells you he wasn't just there to be part of the audience. His real opinion showed just like those Trump supporters when they retaliated. Character is something Dr. King showed. He showed restraint of taunting or mocking in the face of hostility. I don't care is you flip me off or call me white trash. It's still up to me whether to respond in the manner I choose. I can show restraint and not respond with anger or hostility or I can stoop to your level by responding in kind.

The protester wasn't just there to listen. His group was actively there to disapprove of the rally and cause a scene. The cops didn't do anything while the he was flipping people off. He could have left peacefully but wanted to stir it up even more by showing how he really feels about Trump and all of Trump supporters not just the one's that may or may not have said something. The cops didn't try to restrain him until after he got sucker punched when he wanted to get up and retaliate. It's ridiculous that the cops did nothing to the old man when they should have seen him. Those cops should be placed on leave for not doing anything to that old man right after he sucker punched the protester. That's complete carlessness. He could have had a weapon and done something worse because the cops were being so careless.

Unlike you I'm not grouping everyone together. I pointed out there've been instances where the protesters did nothing to get attacked. Like the woman that got assaulted in Louisville. She was innocent and did nothing wrong to provoke anything.

There've been other instances though where the protesters sought out retaliation by taunting Trump supporters and tried to shut down the rally's. You shouldn't expect peace when you come hostile and ready to resist leaving unless force is used. All you want to do is say how inocent all the protesters are. So you are the one grouping all the protesters together. My mini asterisk as you call it is still more balanced than everything you've posted about Trump supporters. You just want to group all Trump supporters together as wrong and group protesters together as innocent. You haven't pointed out an instance where a protester was wrong because you don't believe they are.
