I was curious why he suddenly fell out of favor with the coaching staff.

That's a bit of a curious decision based on the lack of depth at PG, but he's not on scholarship and might feel he has a chance to play elsewhere. Best of luck to him!

I doubt he ever did. He was a walk on forced to play more than he should have at AU due to depth.

It's his choice. He was not forced out. There will be 3 or 4 points in front of him anyway: Harper, whatever other point or points we bring in, & Kliem.
