Spain strikes out. 1 out for Howard. and she drops a bunt down as the infield shifts and she bunts it right back to 2nd and there is no play. runner on 1st, 1 out for Carosone.

Carosone drives one to the gap in left center and to the wall. Howard comes around from 3rd to score. Carosone stands up on 2nd. 6-3 Auburn with 1 out for Cooper.

pitch called a strike but ILLEGAL pitch called (2nd time in the first at bat). Runner gets the walk out of it. no outs. Pitching change for Auburn. Carlee Wallace talking to the home plate umpire pointing out something in the circle. Looks like Rachel Walters will be coming in to pitch for Auburn.

Wallace with two illegal pitches....walks the first batter and she is gone. Not keeping a foot on the rubber during the pitch and from the video replays it was pretty clear what she was doing so can't blame the umps I guess.

kentucky loops one down the line at right and it lands fair and then gets away from Podany and kentucky scores a run and runner at 3rd. still no outs. blooper in foul territory, rhodes goes back and gets it over her shoulder, throw home on the tag up not in time. Auburn lead cut to 6-5. Popped up behind home plate and Wallace makes the catch. After 6 complete, Auburn leads 6-5.

Rhodes, Gipson and Shea due up for Auburn in the 7th. We need a few insurance runs here.

Crazy game....UK with 3 hits and 5 runs......Brutal cold and windy weather and more discussions with umps and coaches than I can ever recall seeing.

OOOPS...another mistake...only two outs on the last pop fly so AU back onto the field and UK back to the plate.

strikeout by Walters to end the 6th. 6-5 Auburn. NOW, we are going to the 7th. Rhodes, Podany and Shea due up.

Really need another couple runs...this kind of weather there will be no routine play on any ball hit into the air to the OF. One run is not enough.

Shea off the glove of the pitcher and fielded by the 3rd baseman and the throw is in time. Going to the bottom of the 7th, Auburn leads 6-5. 3 quick outs please.
