kentucky gets 2 runners on after a close play at 2nd goes in kentucky's favor. Next batter up lines one hard toward second, Carosone goes up to get it and throws to 1st to double up the runner and end the threat. After 1 complete, no score.

WT, you took it easy on the announcers (by not saying anything) in the first inning. I may already need to turn the sound off on the game. The comment about Kentucky tattooing the ball ... They had a bunt, a dribbler and a line drive.

Then they essentially were making fun of Myers regarding yesterday when the close play at 2nd happened ... Instead of discussing the close play and possible missed call.

Gipson, Abbott and Jordan all strike out, but after Rhodes solo homer puts Auburn up. 1-0. Going to the bottom 2nd

Rhodes crushed that ball. It wasn't off her bat and they said it was gone. Announcers claim it is the longest homer they have seen in this park ... Of course given the track record of announcers, this may be their first series to ever announce here.

I'm guessing he wasn't even questioning the call at 2nd, but perhaps that the runner left early at 1st. I really don't know so I'm speculating but the color guy is pretty clueless and it shows every time he speaks.

He actually called our home runs "wind aided" like we don't normally hit home runs or something. Hello.. We lead the league in home runs.

Draper chops one toward a drawn in 3rd baseman and the throw to 1st is in time. Howard lifts one down the line to left and its caught just in fair territory. 2 outs for Carosone.

Cooper singles out of the reach of the short stop. runner on 1st for Wallace. Wallace chops one hard to short and it hits off the shortstop and gets away from her. Runners on 1st and 2nd for Jade Rhodes and Auburn is in business.

Lexi has not seen as much action this year as in the past but looking really good today.....good command and encouraging lots of ground balls which is her specialty.

Carosone grounds to the left side, fielded by the 3rd baseman and that ends the Auburn half of the 5th. Tigers still lead 1-0
