This team is really in a funk....hard to believe it is the same squad we saw a few weeks ago.

Yep. I can't figure out what the problem is. Something happened with this team after the Georgia sweep. Not sure whether its something off the field or something mental or what, but its clear something has changed. This team is too good to be playing this poorly in recent games.

Going to the bottom of the 7th, Auburn needs 7 runs to keep the game going. Bogaards came in to play short earlier in the game and her spot leads off the 7th. We'll see if Myers let's her hit or pinch hits for her. After her is Draper then back to the top of the order with Tiffany Howard. We need LOTS of baserunners and score lots of runs here.

What is it with all the homeruns? I dont remember this at all until they went to Tenn. Now everyone is hitting 2 and 3 run HRs. The pitching is affecting everything else it seems.

Either someone has figured out the pitching sings or the ladies are fatigued. Or something is tipping off the hitters. Gotta change something or this season is going to fizzle out. Hate it for the girls because they are getting hammered on social media about their play and several of the girls are taking it hard.

Our "pitching by committee" needs to hold a committee meeting. Beyond that, something(s) have caused the train to jump the tracks. We're not hitting the way we were earlier either.

Now, about those cowards that personally attack a player of any sport on facebook: They don't deserve to have a team to root for.

I agree Mikey. The run these girls have had since Myers took over has been one of the best in the country, and you would think the "fans" would feel blessed to be in the position we are in with this program. They have made fans of softball that never followed before, including myself. These ladies are going through a major slump right now and for now that has only been 4 games in a row. These same girls clobbered Arkansas 54-0 in a 3 game series a month ago. They need support to get through this. People are only adding negative emotions that can be a cancer to the psyche that Myers had built these 3 years. It's BS and the girls deserve so much more than those people are giving them.

Concerning but still time to turn the trend around. The girls have spoiled us with good play the last couple of years and this bump has been tough to watch. Have to believe they can and will get through it and play deep into the postseason.

And by the way.......who knows who those "fans" are...probably like a lot football fans who are only on board when the team is winning and they can brag to their bama friends.

But those are more or less public sites and I guess anyone can say anything. Hoping the ladies know to ignore that stuff.....or perhaps the team can filter the comments.... or else get out of the social media business.

I check the site on auburntigers.com where they have connect to twitter, facebook and instagram. JMO but that's asking for the bammers and snarky snarky trolls to unload on individual players.

Well, we have our share of idiots iin our fan base and only a quick glance at the main football board is required to prove that. While its possible those same idiots are the ones making these over the top comments on social media, its equally possible that its a group of uat fans that hate any Auburn success and they are the ones piling on. Or its a combination of both. Either way, they are all very sad people.
