Parker got in a rhythm after the play at third base. Not popping the 1st pitch up as often, which is good.

Not sure what the batters are seeing but they are taking a lot of strikes...good pitches.

Most are seeing the actual strike zone...not a foot outside of it where the ump is calling some of them. Also, facing a pitcher with a lot of movement on the ball causes hesitation. That's all it takes to decide not to swing. Pitcher is just good.

Ump is not too bad tonight....and most of the takes have been close enough that they should be swinging....making it too easy on her.

We took a lot of strikes. Most were within the given strike out box.

okay folks, we are either swinging at the early pitches or trying to work her pitch count up - can't get her pitch count up if we swing at the first pitch everytime (unless they are all hits)

I am more worried about our pitcher not getting early strikes.

Alright. Here comes our second time through the lineup. Time to do some damage.

1 single doesn't hurt. After 2 complete, Auburn trailing 2-0. Time for some runs.... Draper, Howard, Cooper coming up.

Did you notice what appeared to be a pitch-out signal from CW.....at the last moment, dragged her fingers in the dirt and Martin pitched out hoping to get the runner trying to steal.

Its pretty risky trying to get her pitch count up by not swinging at strikes. Yeah it worked Monday, but only in the last inning, and then it still wasn't good enough.

Darn it. Wasted two strikes trying to bunt on. All good though. Error on Parker.

Rally time!

Draper loops it right to the pitcher and she drops it and of course draper makes 1st. to lead off the 3rd. Howard with a perfect bunt as the defense rotates and she bunts it toward 2nd and there is no throw. Runners on 1st and 2nd for Cooper.

Cooper loops one to right center and it drops for a single. Auburn has the bases loaded with NO OUTS for Emily Carosone.
